Our story

About This Site

We built this site to explain slots like Africa honestly, including the parts other reviews skip.

Why we started this site

This project began with a simple frustration: too many slot reviews repeat the same marketing copy without checking whether the numbers behind it actually exist. When we sat down to cover Africa by Royal Slot Gaming, we ran into that problem directly. Some sources mention an RTP figure, others list it as not disclosed, and the provider itself does not publish a technical sheet for this title. Rather than pick whichever number sounded reasonable, we decided to say so plainly.

Our small team works across research, writing, and editing. One person pulls data from slot databases and casino portals, cross-checks it against the provider's own catalogue where available, and flags anything that does not line up. Another writes the page you are reading, using only what has been verified. A third reviews the draft against the source notes before anything goes live. It is not glamorous work, but it is the part that matters most to us.

Africa turned out to be a good test case. The math model, the 243 ways structure, the free spins feature, and the 4800x max win are documented consistently across the sources we checked. The RTP is not. So on the pages covering this game, you will see the ways and the max win discussed with confidence, and the RTP discussed as unconfirmed rather than guessed.

We also noticed something else while researching this title: at least one market scan found no active casino currently offering Africa for real money, even though the game exists in provider catalogues and demo libraries. We think readers deserve to know that too, instead of being pointed toward a game that may not be easy to find in a real-money lobby right now.

None of this makes us infallible. Databases disagree with each other, provider pages disappear, and our own notes get updated when better information surfaces. What we can promise is that we will not fill a gap with a number that sounds plausible just to make a page look complete.

How we make money, and what that does not change

Some links on this site lead to partner casinos, and if you sign up through one of them, we may receive a commission. That relationship never decides what we write about a game's math, volatility, or availability. Our notes on Africa read the same whether or not a partner offers it. If a provider does not publish an RTP, we say that, regardless of whether it helps or hurts a partner's page. Gambling is intended for entertainment only and carries real financial risk. This content is meant for readers 19 years of age or older (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec), and it is not a substitute for your own judgment about whether to play, or for how much.
